Jon Hughes: Despoiler's vocalist adds a dark mix of gravelly singing, demonic growls and powerful screams to the Despoiler sound. Alloyed with a high energy stage presence and original roots in the death metal genre, Jon's vocals give Despoiler it's recognised, unique sound.

Jim Pierce: Rooted in progressive metal Jim Pierce's technical excellence adds a great strength to Despoiler's unique scum metal style. Jim is the llatest addition to the Despoiler roster replacing old guitarist Tobermort P. Niss (deceased). A great implementer of melody and harmonies, Jim's talents are shown massively in his music..

Paul Kirby: With musical influences from Sonata Arctica to Carl Orff and almost everything in between Paul adds to the diverse song writing mixture, rounding off all of the influences within the band which meld into the one and ferrous sound of Scum Metal.

Sam Stanley: The backbone of Despoiler's sound is held together by Sam's thunderous drumming. His enthusiastic personality comes across greatly through his performances on and off stage. Influenced heavily by classic rock and metal Sam drives the Despoiler machine.

Chris Rowlands; a bass playing powerhouse who lays down fat supporting grooves within the Despoiler sound further bolstering the already tone rich music drawing on his love of the band dope and other heavy nu metal acts he brings this to the forte of Despoilers music

Despoiler: Formed in Widnes in 2006. Despoiler offer a brand new flavour of metal to the heavy music scene. With songs greatly varying in sound and feel, Despoiler's uniqueness comes from it's members wide variety of preferred metal genres. Blended together with a strangely successful chemistry, this mix of influences gives Despoiler its patented Scum Metal sound.

Hailing from the North West of England, Despoiler's mission objective is clear, to bring original metal and a high-energy stage show to those that dare listen.
