Despoiler’s first festival gig was an enjoyable one, though the general music style wasn’t metal we believe that Despoiler have converted at least a couple of lucky viewers.

\Despoiler played yet another tight gig accompanied by the bands Ensorrowed, Synapse and Signified. The band hope to play gigs in the future with these bands to spread the metal.
Rui’s Rock Bar, Widnes 7th May 2010
The gig at Rui’s Bar, Widnes went down a treat. We would like to thank everyone that came down and we hope that everyone enjoyed it as much as the band did. The team look forward to seeing you all again at future gigs.
Zanzibar, Liverpool 3rd June 2010
Despoiler played Zanzibar, Liverpool last night in what turned out to be an enjoyable evening of metal with a good crowd and an excellent sound. The sound quality in Zanzibar was incredible and the energy of the show was amazing.
Despoiler played with three other bands, Desolation Remains, Entropy and Blackened Sun who all put on a quality performance.
Despoiler will now be travelling to Download Festival for a short rest and will then
return to complete their second EP (name yet to be revealed)
Chester Hangman 20th August 2010
A last minute gig at the Chester Hangman turned out to be a blast. With a nice size stage and an accepting audience the guys had a laugh here. Despoiler are looking forward to playing there again on November 12th.
